Hi I'm Erik

I grew up in Salt Lake City, I am reporting for my mission on February 11th. I couldn't be happier, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi! I am a 18 year old boy who is just on the brink of serving a mission, I leave on the 11th of February! Holy cow! I am so excited to go and share the Gospel with my brothers and sisters! I graduated Highschool in 2014 and have been working at Cafe Zupas ever since! I am incredibly passionate about the theater! I love to sing and act my little heart out. But what i really love is to help people, I love being able to be a shoulder cry on for anyone that is in need. I love this Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born and raised in this amazing church, but i always have choice which is beautiful! The reason I continue to follow the gospel is because I love it. Jesus Christ and His gospel bring me so much joy and so many things to be thankful for. For those reasons to do anything else is simply not an option for me in my life. I felt the spirit so many times and I love the companionship of the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

As I have mentioned I am about to go out and serve a LDS mission for two whole years! CRAZY! I am beyond excited to have this amazing opportunity in my life and i feel incredibly blessed. Outside of the church I participate in the Boy Scouts Of America, so I have had an amazing time learning how to serve others during the years I have been in scouts, and I have learned some amazing life lessons. I am proud to say that I am an Eagle Scout and it feels amazing! I try to always help those around me, whether it be literally lending a hand to finish some yard work, or just being a friendly face that is easy to talk to. I believe that Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of service in the world and I cannot picture him without a smile! I just love to think of the joy his smile would bring.
