Hi I'm Carrie

I'm grew up in Utah. I'm a waitress. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Carrie and I'm a Mormon. I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters. I guess you could say that family is "my thing". I love my family! I enjoy listening to music, dancing, playing sports, rock climbing and playing card games with my family. I have an absolute passion for learning new languages and learning about different cultures. I am a dreamer! I love life and I love making people have fun when they're with me. I love to laugh. I went to college for two years before serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Currently, I am serving as a missionary in Taiwan hoping to bring the joy that I feel from the Gospel to those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ lives! I know that He is the Savior and Redeemer of this world. He will accept all who come unto Him and repent of their sins. Everyone has hard things they have to do or go through, but the enabling power atonement of Jesus Christ is there for every single person. I gained my testimony of Jesus Christ through reading the Book of Mormon. It is another testament of Jesus Christ and it contains the word of God. I know that the Book of Mormon was translated by the power of God through Joseph Smith. He truly is a prophet of God. I know that everyone who has a sincere desire to know of the truthfulness of these things can know if they read the Book of Mormon and ask God. I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by finding peace in Christ. Serving as a missionary is hard work. Especially because I'm not fluent in the language here. At times it seems pretty easy to feel discouraged when I can't communicate well with others. But, I find great peace and joy in my daily life by studying the scriptures and taking time to pray. When I feel discouraged my faith in Christ always brings me closer to God through prayer and through listening to the gentle promptings of the Holy Ghost.
