Hi I'm Ester

I'm Spanish, I love Banksy, I am a missionary in the England Leeds Mission and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am a very cheerful and happy young Spanish girl. I have always been an active member of the LDS church and it has been a great blessing for me. I enjoy writing, singing Disney, dancing, jokes and pranks, funny faces, costumes, paintball, food, climbing, outdoors, going to the gym etc. I am always up for an excursion ;) I moved to England for a gap year after high school and I loved it! I also like reading (typical famous books, articles, news, magazines) I love graffitis and art. My favourite graffiti artist is Banksy and I love 'hunting' famous hidden graffitis ;) I have hunted 7 of his graffitis in England and America so far yeyyyy :) I have got a long way to go yet...

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of convert mormon parents. They taught me very well, and I had good examples at home (my siblings and my parents). We were all a very active family (my dad has been my bishop for the longest part of my life), we would read the scriptures and pray as a family daily. We'd be the type of 'pefect mormon family', the only thing was that... I lived in Spain, which is quite different from mormon typical places (utah, America....). This made me really think about my faith when I was a teenager (and the only member of the church in my highschool). I had my ups and downs about religion and personal life (just like any other teenager). I come from a big family but I have always loved independence. I needed to know for myself that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the only true church on Earth. That's one of the biggest reasons why I decided to move to a complete different country, so that I would not be influenced by my family. As soon as I arrived and I prayed and read the book of Mormon the way moroni says and the way I had promised myself I would do, as soon as I did for myself all the things and teachings that I had been taught by my parents I KNEW and couldn't deny that IT IS TRUE. I continue to live the gospel because I know it's true and it's the reason why I am constantly happy. God loves me and has let me know for myself what is true. Life is wonderful and I love it 3

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, and because my ward is quite small I do a lot of things at church such us conduct the hymns or play the piano. I work with the young single adults, but, because we're not many we usually end up mixing and socialising with the youth hahah I attend 'family home evenings ' (a nice meetup with the members at the church building and we share thoughts, have games and refreshments) most Thursdays. I enjoy going to church dances, but my favourite thing about the church is to be able to greet new people and talk with everybody! I strive to live my faith every day and try to do good things as much as possible. Prayer and reading the scriptures daily is highly important in my life to be fully happy and possitive ;)

What is being a Mormon like?

It is awesome!!! It brings eternal happiness to know the eternal truth. Some people think that life is complicated... Well, my life isnt. I have trials, like every one else, but knowing why and how to overcome everything makes life a lot easier. Also simple hapy things are bigger and better with the gospel. When you know the truth and have the right attitude you become (like me) the happiest person on hearth. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) ;) :) ;) ;) ;) :) Show more Show less
