Hi I'm Savannah Tew

I grew up in Santaquin Utah. I played accelerated softball for 10 years and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Savannah Tew. I grew up in the small town of Santaquin Utah. I love the out doors and I love the mountains. I love sports. I played softball, soccer, and basketball all through my high school career. I love to fish and hunt. I love horses. I have 4 horses. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this religion and a lot of people tell me of course you just have the testimony of your parents to go off of, but that is not true. Just like everyone else who has be completely converted to this gospel, I have had to gain my own testimony through my own trials. There was a time where I had no desire to go to church. I went because my parents made me. I slept through the whole thing and didn't want to be there. Until one day I felt so lost I just wanted to cry.I went to my friend and she asked me when was the last time you read the scriptures and prayed. So I finally picked the Book of Mormon back up and I read. Finally I got on my knees and started to pray. I knew then that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on this earth, and that I could be saved through this gospel and living its teachings. That truly is the greatest feeling I've ever had and I am beyond great full for this gospel.

How I live my faith

Playing softball has taught me to find the good in all people. There are a lot of people who are not Mormon in the softball world and that is fine because even if they aren't they are all still great people. Some may not live by our standards but they still have a love for this life and someday I hope that they can find the truth. I share the gospel by being me and serving others. By finding time to be kind. Maybe then I can help light a spark in there eyes for the future.
