Hi I'm Megan

I love the outdoors, running, and country music. I love life, and I love to be happy, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I live in Utah, and I love all that this great state has to offer, especially the outdoors. There is beauty here, even if it is a desert. My favorite activities are hiking and fishing, and I spent a lot of time in my childhood spending days fishing with my family and my dog. My family is such a great strength and example to me, and I love spending time with my siblings and parents. The gospel has been a central point in my home since day one, and I am grateful that my parents made family prayer a priority in my home. I also enjoy travel, even though I don't do it much. One day I want to travel through Europe and visit as many countries as possible. I love music, of all kinds, but I have a special affinity for country music. Even though I am not great at singing, one of my favorite ways to unwind after a rough day at school or work is blasting country music over my radio and singing along. I love running and hope to one day run a marathon. I'm a full time student studying secondary education, and one day I want to teach science at either a high school or junior high. I love teaching youth, and helping them understand things that might be hard for them. Soon I will be entering the mission field to serve in Washington State, and I hope that my passion to teach will help me to share the gospel with those I will encounter.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel! I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is something that brings me so much joy in life. That's not to say that life is not hard. I've experienced doubt, fear, and hard times, but I've also experienced joy and love. This gospel is how I make it through those hard times. To know that Christ understands me, that He knows my strengths and my weaknesses. I know that He suffered and died for me. Because I know this, I know that I never have to walk this life alone. I can always turn to my Savior. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love this gospel! It is because I have the gospel in my life that I am able to find joy. I live my faith by praying daily and finding ways to help those around me be happy too.
