Hi I'm Kara

I grew up in San Diego, CA. I attend BYU Provo in my free time. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am who I am today because of wonderful, loving people. I grew up with incredible examples around me, and I learned about my purpose here on this earth through these examples, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. One of my passions is traveling. I have been on humanitarian trips to Guatemala and Ghana, and also lived in China for a few months to teach English. This may make me seem like I am an incredible person, but that is very false. I still have SO much more to learn. I gradually become more humble each time I serve others, and have come to gain a stronger testimony about how we are ALL God's children. He loves every one of us, and I have been so blessed to witness so much of this as I have traveled around the world. I have decided to serve a mission, and was called to the Phnom Penh, Cambodia mission, leaving January 21st, 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

Why wouldn't I be? This church rocks.

How I live my faith

Throughout the years I have never had a very demanding calling in the church. I have had it pretty easy as far as that goes. But starting next Wednesday, I will become a full-time missionary and I am SO excited to be a part of this sacred work. It truly makes me the most happy to know I am worthy enough to accept this calling, because it may be the most important calling in the church I will ever have. I will be able to impact generations of families
