Hi I'm Heather

I am from Wisconsin and was the only member in my school. I am now a student at BYU. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University. I enjoy playing almost every sport and I play the violin and the piano. Traveling is my passion. I love learning about people and other cultures. I hope someday to be able to travel to Africa, Guatemala, and other 3rd world countries to build schools, work in orphanages, and teach life sustainability. I love hiking, camping, and basically doing anything outside. I love my family, friends, and my dog.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. I know that He lives and that He loves each one of us. I know that Christ died on the cross so that we can be forgiven of our sins and return to live with Him again. I know that Christ was resurrected and that one day we can be too. I continue to follow this true, restored gospel because of the happiness and peace it brings to my life. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and that it teaches and prophesies of Christ. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet on the earth today. I know that my family can be together forever. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving everyday to read the scriptures and have morning and evening prayer. I serve in my Young Single Adult ward. I am also a program director for Y-Serve (BYU's service organization) because I love serving others. I try to be more Christlike by being more patient, working hard, and obeying the commandments of God.
