Hi I'm Braxton

I love to snowboard and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a great passion for playing music. I enjoy playing the piano and drums. Growing up I always found ways to share my music, whether it be in a rock band or recording my personal piano music for others. I also love going up to the mountain to snowboard. I find peace and solitude when I go up to the mountain. It's my place where I can escape the world and ponder on other things. I am a sophomore in college and plan to graduate in business.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church so it has always been a part of my life. However, there were many years where I chose not to believe in the teachings I had been taught. I broke away from the church completely for two years and it was a really hard time in my life. After realizing I wasn't finding the same happiness that I had when I was younger, I decided to give the church another chance. It took a while, but I can now say I have a full testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Living its teachings really does bring true happiness and I strive each day to follow the commandments given to us by the Lord.

How I live my faith

I am currently the pianist in our ward's primary. I love spending each week with all the kids and hearing their testimonies. Their purity and innocence really brings the spirit into the room each week. I have also been called to serve a full time mission in Santiago, Chile. I am so excited to serve the Lord by leaving my family and teaching the people in a different country.
