Hi I'm Thomas Kovac

I was born in Provo, Utah, grew up in Switzerland and was able to experience many different cultures. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 19 years old and absolutely LOVE to read, I have a few books by Brandon Sanderson I've read about 6 times each. I'm not too comfortable around people right off the bat, but once you get to know me... boy are you in for a surprise ;). I do like helping people though, it might be a "side effect" of being a Mormon, but I don't really care where that stems from, I just enjoy helping people and then feeling good because of it, that's just a bonus though, the real happiness comes from knowing you've changed someone's life, no matter how big or small of a service rendered.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church. Not that that means I can't change religions, I just never even considered it. Yes, sometimes being a member is hard, but then you realize that God loves you and gave you these commandments and is allowing you to go through these trials for a reason. He wants to help you become the best "you" that you can, sometimes He has to let you experience hardships so that can happen, but He'll always be there to help you through it. You just have to ask him.

How I live my faith

Well, currently I'm serving a full-time mission, so that's that. Outside of my mission experience, I go on splits with the missionaries in my home mission, I play board and computer games with my friends, who are for the most part already LDS, but every once in a while I'll get someone who isn't and so I get to share what I know with him or her and just be a good example of a Mormon.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Thomas Kovac
Nephi, Jacob, Enos, Jarom, Omni, Mosiah, Alma, Alma, Helaman, Nephi, Nephi, Mormon, Ether, Moroni. These are all prophets who lived in the Americas anciently and recorded their interactions with the God who created them. God has brought those writings of ancient prophets to us through Joseph Smith because he knew we would need the guidance and direction the Book of Mormon brings us. The central message of the Book of Mormon is that Jesus is the Christ, and that when we follow the example Christ has set for us we can all live in harmony and find peace in our own lives. In whom should we have faith?

Thomas Kovac
Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. That's something some people don't always understand, we do in fact have a Father in Heaven, and he loves us and wants us to return to him by following the example that his son, Jesus Christ, has set for us. Show more Show less
