Hi I'm McKenzi

I grew-up in Utah. I love the gospel and my family. I am a Registered Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have 4 children. I also work full-time as a Registered Nurse. I love music and art, and am an accomplished pianist (and dabble with the harmonica). I also love to paint, sculpt and draw. I love hiking, camping and the outdoors. I enjoy exercising (kick-boxing, yoga) and enjoy meditation.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that they live and love me. I cannot deny the feeling of truth that the gospel brings to me. That peace, joy and contentment are for everyone. I encourage anyone to pray. Heavenly Father is always there for you.

How I live my faith

I feel the love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ daily. When I live the gospel it brings me peace and joy and I can see the wonderful blessing the gospel brings to my family. I enjoy teaching the little children in nursery at my church. I love little children and I seeing the light in their eyes when they learn about the love their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for them.

What is being a Mormon like?

I cannot imagine life without the gospel. I feel the blessings of it daily in my life. People ask me why I am always so happy. It is because I know that God lives, Jesus is the Christ, and that the gospel is true. I know that God loves me and each and everyone of us. He knows each of us (our loves, fears, needs). We are here to practice faith and to serve our fellow man. The gospel reminds me to "love one another" and it truly brings me joy to do so. Heavenly Father answers prayers and loves you. I encourage everyone to pray daily. And to try and practice stillness and meditation (believe me, I have to work full-time and raise 4 small children - it isn't always easy). But, it helps me to feel connected to Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
