Hi I'm Dennis

I am a son of God born in Warri. A native of Okpavuere Olomu, Delta, Nigeria. My greatest joy is the church i found myself-LDS

About Me

I am native Okpavuere-Olomu in Delta, Nigeria. the second child of my parents. One of my hobbies is traveling and cooking. I am a technician in the field of cable satellite. With the special gift given to me i have raise the weak to be come strong. Services i love to render. For that is the reason the priesthood is given to man. I love education and want my children to be greater than me. I love being a savior to my families-Dead ones and the living and i always seek for them undermining when money is scarce.

Why I am a Mormon

Before i became a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, i have attended different denominations. Observing their money mindedness, much beating of drums and false teachings, i stopped and sat at home. In the area where i live in warri, in 1991, in a street called Maduku, i saw the church but never saw any body and said in my mind that they are secret cult. As we relocated to our permanent residence, a neighbor told me about the book of Mormon and said it is another scripture. I told him it is only the Holy bible that i know of . He brought it for me. After reading for some days i found nothing wrong with it . As i relocated to Lagos, the very night i arrived i ask my cousin to escort to know the area. there again i saw the church and said one day i will come and see what they are doing in the church. Yet not to sit at home i attended another church but was completely fed-up because the y said if you can drop certain amount of money they will anoint you with oil. One certain day, i met a school mate of mine who told me about Eckankar. Seeing my spiritual capacity , he suggested i attend his religion. Saturday morning when i woke up a voice said to me "why not visit the church you saw..go to the church" standing up i went to him that i will visit the church i told him of. Sunday i was there and was pleased. The next Sunday with the way things were done. I told a brother that i have something to tell the congregation but requested me to wait till the first Sunday. I was not happy but to bear until the hour.Wanting to give me discussion i refused saying i have seen what i am looking for. Yet they persisted and i received the discussion and saw again the book of Mormon Because of the way i was performing, i was ask several time to pass sacrament. Ono day when Olukani Joshua taught about Aaronic priesthood, i said within me that i have not received it and went to president Odudu Victor. He was surprised and did it immediately.

How I live my faith

With the different calling i have been involved, chorister, instructor, counselor, i have come to know that the weight of what the church has. Also fully realized how the spirit is operating in the life of man. Without being humble, there is no way you can achieved the fullness of the blessing of the spirit. For me i can not do without the gospel of Jesus Christ. In the aspect of home teaching i have gain the value of what it takes to be a family minded man. Sometimes some hidden things will be made known unto you when you have the spirit with you. Because of what i have knowledge of, there were some period i do trek from my home to church spending four hours to-fro for almost two years. I can't see a meal over the other side of a sea and will not cross.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Dennis
From the experience i have gained. no matter are faithful you are if murmur in any trials and always fixing time for God to give you a specific blessing you are provoking Him. There are things He want's you to learn which are unknowingly that will better your life. Think about, ponder some blessing that was delayed you will discover there is an experience that expanded your knowledge of the Atonement of Christ. The simplest avenue for you to recognize that He lives is when you drop your prayers after much pondering Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

Dennis
Many are so confident of their talent and the special gift given to them. This they are perfected in already to an extent that they can not make error any longer. But one thing matters most which is some times looked common by the common man. They forget that there is a supreme Being who controls the spirit of man.The world was created Him through His son Jesus Christ. Come to think of it. Who on this earth has a burden that was able to quench it with sweet talks? If it does, it will come again. But with the drops of prayers the weight of the Atonement is experience wherein the taught, burden will vanish as if nothing happened. Having faith on the burden bearer(Jesus Christ) is the only solution. Show more Show less

Dennis
Those who have experience filthy life style have experience embarrassment from people they live close to. It has resulted a lot sicknesses and death.
