Hi I'm Steve

I'm a husband, a father and a dentist...and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in the Bay Area, educated on the East Coast, spent summers in Israel and now reside with my wife and our son in Utah. North Dakota and Kansas are the last two states on my quest to visit all Fifty. I speak Korean and am presently learning Romanian. I enjoy skiing, skating, tennis and the Cal Bears!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was taught the principles of Christ's Gospel from my earliest years and I have never had reason to doubt that what my parents had shared with me as I was growing up was true. I have been blessed with a tremendous faith...not "blind" faith..but a "believing" faith. My faith has never waivered even though my ability to live my faith has been challenged at times. Fortunately a loving Heavenly Father has seen fit to allow me to be touched by the Holy Ghost in ways that leave no room for doubt in my heart, in my mind and in my very being that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth today in its fullness. I have literally felt and figuratively seen the hand of the Lord on so many occasions in my life that I no longer "hope", I no longer "wish", I no longer "believe" that God lives and loves His children and that Jesus Christ is His Only Begotten and Resurrected Son...I "know" these things to be true....and that has made all the difference in my life.

How I live my faith

I love my religion. It teaches us that of upmost importance is service to our fellowmen. I have found this to be true. I have tried to make this a guiding principal throughout my life and it has been a source of great joy and personal satisfaction. I think often of the Savior's words..."inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me". I believe truer words were never spoken. Living my religion makes me a better person and gives me a sense of purpose far greater than any other endeavors I have pursued...I LOVE my religion!!
