Hi I'm Emily!

I am from Texas. I like to laugh and smile. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 19 years old, and I am the second youngest of five children. I am currently a student at Brigham Young University and I have just been called to serve in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission reporting June 27th. I have a younger brother with Down Syndrome who has helped shape me into the person I am today and who I love to pieces. I enjoy reading, sewing, and going on adventures!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the unimaginable joy that I have received in my life from this gospel. Throughout my short 19 years of life I have been blessed with so many experiences that have continually reaffirmed the faith and knowledge that I grew up with. I know without any doubt that this is Christ's restored gospel on the earth and I am forever grateful for this knowledge that I have. "All things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator."

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to follow Christ's example. In my ward I lead the music and one way that I try to magnify this calling is looking out into the congregation and smiling. I believe that the best way I can be a disciple of Christ is to bring joy to others and this is one way that I do that!
