Hi I'm Tyson

I grew up in Ramah. I am an Eagle Scout. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello my name is Tyson. I love to travel. I have been all over the United States. I have even traveled outside of the U.S. to Mexico several times. I love my family and have done everything with them when we traveled. I have been skiing, white water rafting, and even mountain climbing. I play football, and basketball. I am a fan of the Cowboys football team. I am an Eagle Scout. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I am going to serve a mission for my Church in Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or Mormons. My father and mother were members and raised me in the Church. Just because I was raised in the Church doesn't mean I don't have a conversion story. Before I was baptized, as a family, we invited the missionaries into our home and took the discussions. I read the Book of Mormon and felt the spirit testify that it was true. I choose to be baptized when I turned eight. When I was baptized I came out of the water feeling so clean that I knew the Gospel was true. That was when i was converted. I know that through Jesus Christ's atonement I can continue to be forgiven. I always strive to follow Gods commandments, and because of this I found peace in my challenging life. I found strength when I felt weak. I found answers when I had none.

How I live my faith

Jesus taught us to love others and serve them. I try to follow his example with service in my community. I have helped in a lot of ways. As of right now I am teaching 2 different groups of people. The first group is one of the adult groups and I teach them about the teachings of the presidents of the Church. The other group I am teaching are 14 to 16 year olds and I teach them about our Church as a whole. In the past I have helped people out in the community, like cut firewood for them, help fix their houses, helped them move out, and help people move in. I also created 72 hour kits for each class in my school in case of a lock down. I have also been a part of the presidency of many of our church groups.
