Hi I'm Jessica Christensen

I'm from Logan, Utah. I lived in China and Taiwan for a couple of years. I love to fly airplanes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest in a family of of five children. Currently I'm a college student majoring in psychology. Once finished I plan to go to grad school in clinical psychology. I like to do just about anything (skydiving, chilling with my family, skiing, reading, serving others, sports, and playing with puppies). Something that I really love to do is to travel to meet new people and learn about different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is a part of all that I am. It is through the messages in the scriptures and fervent prayer that I have come to know that there truly is a God, he my Heavenly Father and he loves me. I know that God is watching out for me; He has helped me through so many of life's struggles and helped me to learn and become better through them. It is through the message of Christ's gospel that I can know that this life is not the end, that my life has a purpose, and that I can be with my family who I love forever. This gospel brings me assurance, peace, and hope. It gives me courage to stand up for worthy principles and standards and to try to follow Christ's example in all that I do. While I am far from perfect Christ's atonement gives me hope and reassurance that I can change and become better. It is because of coming to know Christ that I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and love. He has helped to make me into someone better than I could have ever made myself.

How I live my faith

I get to live my faith everyday in every interaction that I have. We are encouraged to be like the savior; to build, lift, and support all of those around us. I try to serve those around me and to bring them to the savior so that they can feel the joy that always comes from getting to know him. I try to do as Christ would have me do by looking for opportunities to serve others.
