Hi I'm Britny

Hi! I grew up in a small town and I loved it. I love spending time with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi everyone! Im Britny. I am a full-time college student and loving it. I play volleyball for the college I attend and it is so great. I enjoy being in the outdoors and love playing card games. I'm planning on serving a full time mission and can not wait to serve The Lord for 18 months. Coming from a fairly large family, I have learned the importance of helping others and serving them before yourself. Through trials and finding faith and strength through them, I have become the person I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at 8. Born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Because i was raised in the church, you would assume that my testimony has always been strong. Sadly, this isn't true. Living in the world we are surrounded by things, trials and hardships, that test our faith and devotion to the Lord and his church. Through these trials i have learned to lean on our Savior and to utilize his atonement. He payed the ultimate price for us so that we can live with our Father in heaven when we leave this life here on earth. Being Mormon isn't just a title. It is a way of life. It's complete joy and happiness. Being a part of this gospel can and will bring so much joy to you and your family. This doesn't mean that hard times wont come, but when the hard times do come, you will turn and rely on our Savior and Redeemer; Jesus Christ. I love my family. Because of this church and because of the temple, i know that i get to be with my family for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

By living my faith, i have had so many opportunities to serve and have received so many blessings. The Institute is a great place for young single adults to come together and interact. At the Institute they offer classes during the week to learn of Christ and other teachings of the Church. And of course, Sunday meetings are held at the Institute. Throughout the week there are fun activities planned to get young single adults together and to have a good time. My calling in the Institute was to plan these fun activities. We had activities that consisted of life size fuse ball to glow in the dark soccer to fun dances. It was so fun and great to see everyone involved and having a good time together. By staying active in church and attending the Institutes wholesome activities, it helps me to live my faith and be righteous.
