Hi I'm Katherine

I love to read, travel, and experience new things. I want to someday change the world. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Orem, Utah and have been a member of the church my whole life. I am the oldest of four. I have one sister and two brothers. I am going to school studying International Business. I am currently serving a mission in the Taiwan Taipei mission, speaking Mandarin Chinese! I am very ambitious and believe that life is an adventure that I can't wait to continue experiencing. I can honestly say that I don't know who I would be without the gospel of this church, and everyday I am so grateful for it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life. After I moved out for college, I realized that I had the choice of whether or not to go to church. My parents weren't there to make me go any more. It was then that I realized that I had truly gained my own testimony because it was me going to church, not my parents making me. I believe the teachings of the Church, and every day I am so grateful for the life that the Church has given me. The standards that they set are so that we can live the best life possible. I can honestly say that I don't know who I would be without this church, and I will forever love and be grateful for it.

How I live my faith

My first calling in my brand new singles ward was "Sunday School Teacher" I was 18 and teaching return missionaries. I was scared beyond belief. What I didn't know was that the next year I was going to be called to serve a mission and all of those lessons helped me learn how to teach others. Then I was called to help any sisters in the ward that needed more support. I loved getting to know all of the sisters and becoming great friends. Through these callings I have made great friends and learned so many great things about this church.
