Hi I'm Eduardo

I grew up in Guatemala. My family lives in Canada. And I'm serving the Lord as a missionary in Maputo, Mozambique (2015-2017)

About Me

My full name is Sergio Eduardo Osorio Ponciano (And this thing thinks both my last names are spelling mistakes). I was born in Guatemala. Moved to Utah when I was 2 years old, went back to Guatemala when I was 6. Moved to Canada when I was 17. And right now, I'm in Mozambique, Africa serving a full time mission. I'm almost 19 years old now, and so far I've lived in 18 houses in the four countries I mentioned above. I never had life long friends, never stayed in the same school, but I believe there was a reason for it. Never having anything to hold unto, I had to find strength in the Lord. I came to know that the promise in D&C 68: 5-6 is real. The Lord has always been with me, and I've never been left alone. I speak Spanish, English very fluently, and I'm getting better with my Portuguese. I absolutely love playing piano! I know that that the Lord has given me a gift because I taught myself, and with only 5 years of playing piano I'm making my own music (not to brag but it's pretty amazing!), and I want to live and sustain myself with a musical career. I love reading books! I read and read as if it was a necessity. Someday, my house will have a room dedicated for the music I'll play in my piano, and another room dedicated to the shelves and shelves of books that I will own.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God is the aid that I need everyday in my life. And I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has the fullness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, as He himself taught when He was here. I love my Saviour and there's nothing or nobody that will make me deny this gospel nor my faith.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a full time mission in Mozambique. Sharing the happiness and joy that comes from this Gospel. Sharing the reassuring truths of this Gospel that I've come to learn and to love. Loving the wonderful people here, and also making them remember that the Lord loves them so much, and that if we have faith in Him, anything is possible.
