Hi I'm Jenica

I am a Idaho girl! I love to sing, ride bike and serve others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am serving a mission in Lansing, Michigan! The best mission in the whole world! I am the youngest of 5 children. I was born and raised in Idaho with a family who loves music and laughing. I love singing. I was involved in choirs for 12 years of my life. I started at a very young age singing with my family. We sang at many things together and we where all apart of many choirs growing up. I also grew up on a farm and have worked for a seed company for 10 years. This kind of work has taught me to be a hard worker and to have endurance. This also brought me closer to my siblings as we worked right next to each other. Working on a farm has made me appreciate the simple things in life and has made me who I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to join the church at 8 years-old and today as a 24 year-old I know that it was the right decision. For I know this church is true with all my heart. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to find an answer. I found after much prayer and writing down my thoughts and feelings that the Book of Mormon is a true book. It's teachings are Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know the teachings in the Book of Mormon correlate with the Bible. I know that Jesus Christ died for us so that we can live with Him again. And through His teachings we can grow closer to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me. At college I had the opportunity to serve the women that lived in my apartment building by visiting them and by bringing treats to them. the more I did this service the more I loved it and grew to love others. I learned that sometimes all it takes to brighten someone else's day is a smile or opening the door for them. Something so small like this can make the difference in someone's day.
