Hi I'm Greg

I grew up in a wonderful period of time during the 1960's. I am an avid music lover and body surfer. I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in sunny Southern California during the dream period of the 1960's. I love people, music and have been an avid body surfer since the age of 12. When I was 19 years old, my life seemed to be going nowhere. I wanted to find the answers to life. Being from a home with an abandoned father, I had many questions that went unanswered. Unlike my childhood, I wanted to be a father that could provide these answers to my future children. This led me on a search that a few years ago I summarized on a blog. If you're feeling like life's answers are eluding you, I urge you to read my story (http://myjourneyforlifesanswers.blogspot.com/) as well as other profiles available here. My life changed dramatically. I know yours can, too. It's well worth the effort!

Why I am a Mormon

If you read my blog story, you will know why I chose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is the only place where I have found the answers to every important question I have had in life. The knowledge and wisdom I have found in this Church has blessed my life, and the life of my family. It has brought us close together; it will continue to do so. If you want to know what eternity means, you will find it here. I love my Heavenly Father for answering my prayers and for caring about me as I've journeyed through life; I love the Savior for sacrificing himself on the altar that I may be forgiven and cleansed of my sins and be resurrected from mortal death like He was, and have the opportunity to dwell with them for eternity in a place of indescribable happiness. I love the Holy Ghost for teaching me spiritual truths and enlightening my mind in all things. If you are an honest seeker of truth, you will find it here.

How I live my faith

We all have our ups and downs, but having a community of believers strengthens my resolve to do better. My understanding of spiritual matters and of life in this world has grown tremendously and has given me a solid foundation upon which to build my, and my family's, future. We are preparing ourselves for the uncertainty that lies ahead, with optimism that good is going to prevail. My faith in my Heavenly Father, in Jesus Christ, and in the promptings and communication through the Holy Ghost has grown tremendously. I now know that they are real, and very personal. You, too, can gain that understanding and relationship. All you have to do is seek, and ask.
