Hi I'm Elder McHardy

I'm 20 years old, serving a mission in the CAM '15-'17. I love sports, especially soccer, I have type 1 Diabetes and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four siblings, three sisters and one brother. I have my mom around and my dad works overseas most of the year so family is something I've come to be grateful for. I love soccer and I plan on playing when I attend college. I have type 1 diabetes and I worked for a junk company for ten months and it taught me how to enjoy hard work and be productive. It showed me how much I have been blessed in my life. I'm currently serving a mission in the CAM to help others learn how they can benefit from a relationship with their Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have found this church to be the only one containing the fullness of the gospel which Jesus Christ taught when He was on the earth and it hold the keys and authority to administer His gospel to Gods children. I know and promise that anyone who is willing to change and learn, will through study of the scriptures and prayer, be able to find out what is true. I testify that this gospel comes from Jesus Christ, that Joseph Smith restored the original church and Priesthood authority that was originally held by Peter the the apostles.

How I live my faith

As Mormons we may be asked to participate and serve others in the church. Currently I am on a mission until February 2017. More importantly however, we maintain high unchanging standards of morality and health that help us stay free of addiction and other consequences that take away our freedom to choose. I know that living the principles of the gospel as taught by the scriptures and ancient and modern prophets, will make our lives happier, more productive lives.
