Hi I'm Erik

I live in Oakley, Utah. I love extreme sports! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I framed homes for three summers and worked sales for two years. I race motocross during the summer, and snowboard during the winter. I'm going to school for Biology- Neuroscience. I love life and the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon and at an early age I questioned everything. Instead of realizing that the guidelines of the church are there to help you stay happy in life, I felt like they were restricting. I fell away and started to party and hang out with a rough crowd. Eventually I hit rock bottom; I didn't have good friends, my life was spiraling in a downward position, and I was sad and depressed. I didn't know what to do with my self. I guess I did the only thing that came to my mind. I got down on my knees, and I plead with God to help me know what to do. I asked, "God, if your out there, help me understand what I need to do, and give me guidance." A few days later I felt inspired to read out of the book of Mormon. I felt very uplifted with what I read and prayed to know if what I read was true. I went to church again and received my answer. The warmth and comfort I felt there was the answer to my prayers. After I cleaned my life up and started working with the Bishop of my ward, I knew that the Church is true. I now realize that the guidelines of the Gospel of Jesus Christ aren't limitations to this life, but they are the pathway to help us live happy lives.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a mission in the Czech Republic. Ahoj!
