Hi I'm Ethan

I was born in Tucson, Arizona. I love to read, travel and perform in theater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Tucson, Arizona. I love reading and traveling. I love to watch basketball, though I'm not too good at it! I am a student at The University of Arizona. I am majoring in Medical Law. I grew up in Tucson, and am called to serve a mission in Taipei, Taiwan.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so I have always been a part of the LDS community, but that didn't mean that I was always sure I believed what the church taught. While I was growing up, I began to question my beliefs. I felt I had never gained an understanding for myself about the church, and I knew that I had to find out for myself whether or not the church was true. I read the scriptures. I prayed about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, and about the teachings of the church that I struggled with. I felt the Spirit testify to me that the church is true, and that the Book of Mormon is as true of a document as there ever could be. I gained a personal belief and understanding of the Gospel because I asked with a sincere heart to find answers to my questions. I am grateful to have the Gospel in my life, and I strive to maintain the high standards it sets because I know that living the Gospel is the way to achieve happiness and peace in this world.

How I live my faith

I try to be as active as I can in the church. I have served as a youth leader while I was a young man. I did service projects with the youth, and tried to serve others in my personal life as well. I teach lessons to members of our ward with my father. I fell that it is just as important for us to do the small and simple things as it is for us to accomplish the large scale responsibilities that we have. I pray everyday. I read the scriptures everyday. I try to find opportunities to serve everyday. Doing these things will strengthen our spirits, and allow us to accomplish all that our Heavenly Father may ask of us.
