Hi I'm James

I have lived in 7 different states. I marched in the Rose Parade. I am an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I marched in my high school marching band on the drum line and with Riverside City College. I am interested in physics, astronomy, and anatomy and hope to become a spinal surgeon in the future. My father is a Marine and has been my whole life. I have three dogs and all of them are fat. I come from a family of 8.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I am also a convert. I was always told that if I ever had a doubt about something in the church being true, all I needed to do was ask through prayer and the answer would be made known to me. Up until my baptism date, I prayed to know that the church and its teachings were true. I had small uncertainties in my mind every day until I prayed about it and after I prayed, I would feel calm. When the time came for my interview with my bishop to ask if I was prepared to be baptized, I knew confidently that I was.

How I live my faith

I have been in leadership positions and helped boys of my age grow with the gospel. I am an Eagle Scout and have been in the scouting program for 8 years. I have worked in the temple for almost two months now. I have taught many families within our church with my father and my bishop. I have done service projects with Mormon helping hands, Eagle Scout projects, and people who just needed work done.
