Hi I'm Ann Waters

I grew up and also raised my family in Utah. I am a retired teacher. I am also a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 6 and I have 16 grandchildren. I am a retired teacher, and I worked with at risk youth through a job corp program. I have been a widow for 6 years. Now I enjoy gardening, reading, sewing, and playing with my grandchildren. I love the outdoors and the mountains. I walk early mornings almost every day. My immediate plans are to serve a mission for my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always loved my Savior and believed that the Mormon church was His church. As a teenager, I had many occasions where I felt the spirit whisper to me that it was true. My testimony has grown stronger as I have gone through life's trials and felt Him by my side helping me and giving me strength. Each time I read the Book of Mormon, I gain a better perspective of the Savior and what He has and still does do for us. I have a strong testimony that it is the word of God and was translated for us by the Prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I have been very involved with my church. I visit other sisters and have helped plan and carry out many activities for women in our area. I also have been a family history consultant and have helped people learn to use the family search website. I have enjoyed doing research and finding new names to add to my family history.
