Hi I'm Kendra Allen

I am the oldest of 5 siblings and have decided to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up swimming and playing soccer which lead me to play water polo. I have played water polo for 7 years between High School and college. I love art, painting, drawing and photography! I love music and dancing, I believe that positive thinking is crucial to have with the world we live in. I was adopted at age three and I am the oldest daughter out of two brothers and two other sisters.I am taking my senior year off from College to serve an 18 month mission to Chicago Illinois speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that my Father in Heaven and his Son Jesus Christ made it possible for me to live the life I am living. Each and every day I have the ability to grow spiritually and mentally. I always have the option to repent and strive to be a better person than I was the day before. I am grateful for the blessings that are given to me, and the constant love that is shown through enduring trials and knowing that I am never alone. I am Mormon because I am human and was given the opportunity to seek out myself if this is the true gospel for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others such as my friends from school, my friends from church and work, my team mates, my family and the missionaries in my ward. I love going out with the missionaries and sharing my testimony to those they are teaching. I love meeting new people and making new friends wherever I go.

What is faith?

Kendra Allen
Faith is believing in something that cannot be seen. By having Faith in the Lord you are showing him that you are willing and ready to becoming that much more closer to him. There is always room for your faith to grow no matter what age you are because life is all about learning and bettering who we are. Show more Show less
