Hi I'm Jarum

I grew up in Idaho. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up learning the value of hard work. I worked on the family farm every summer. There, I did all sorts of things. Move sprinkler pipe, drive tractors, work with cattle, and fix everything that broke down. At first I wasn't a fan of It all, but the older I got, the more I appreciated and loved my time there. I don't work all of the time though. I enjoy activities such as basketball, baseball, hunting, snowmobiling, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and just being with family. I am currently enjoying life as a student at Utah Stat University.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the restored gospel. All of my family and even my extended family are Mormons. One of the biggest reasons of why I am a Mormon is due to how it makes me feel. I feel wanted being a Mormon. I feel happy being a Mormon. I feel at peace being a Mormon. I feel a great sense of self worth and importance being a Mormon. I cannot comprehend how my life would be if I did not belong to this church. It is the greatest thing in my life. After much prayer, studying, and living the gospel, I have come to know that this church is true. I know that it is Christ's church that has been restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that God is our Heavenly Father and that Jesus Christ lives. This Gospel and Church bring such great joy to my life. This I know without a doubt. I encourage and invite all to just give it a chance. You will find out for yourself that it is true.

How I live my faith

Growing up, I had the opportunity of being the President, and Counselor of my peers for a time being. I also got an "official" calling as my ward's Audio/Visual Specialist. Ever since I was fourteen years old, my dad and I had a few families that we would visit each month. We would do service for them, help them out with various activities, and share a spiritual thought. I came to really enjoy those opportunities.
