Hi I'm Jim

I was Born in Chicago Illinois, 1981. I'm a blind gentleman who lives in Indiana. And I am a very happy Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Jim. I am a part time DJ. I like to read, and listen to music on my spare time. I am getting ready to go back to school to be a social worker. I love spending time with friends and family, and I love reading the scriptures. Oh, and I am totally blind.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church in 2009 after a long search of other faiths of Christianity. When I met with the missionaries, they answered all my questions about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They helped me learn about where I came from, why I am here, and where I will be going. I learn a lot from reading scriptures, going to lds.org, and learning from church leaders. I love listening to messages from the gospel library and the Mormon channel. The church has helped me spiritually to understand we have a loving Heavenly Father that wants all His children to return back to Him as a glorified family. We are on this earth for progression and to be with family as a social unit. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know the Book of Mormon is true and is another testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ. From reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible I have gained this witness. They both strengthen me spiritually and really help me with trials and tribulations that I have had in my life.

How I live my faith

I go out with the full time missionaries a lot and talk to people who are investigating the church. I bear my testimony to my friends and family every chance I can get. I share scriptural insights with members and nonmembers of my church. I enjoy going to church with my wife and going to church functions and being with my brothers and sisters of Christ.
