Hi I'm Katie

Hey, my name is Katie I live in Scotland and I love whatever makes me happy. A large part of which is the gospel and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, a sister to two elder sisters and a friend to whoever wants or needs one. I love music, listening to it mainly although with whatever spare time I have I try to learn to play keyboard. I love the bands One Republic and Mayday Parade (and many more...). I have been to 3 concerts almost 4 including One Republic, which was amazing. I love watching tv which isn't the most productive hobby unfortunately... I love movies mainly Disney or marvel and cake and milk are pretty great too. I love to be creative in whatever way possible from drawing to writing to decorating my room with pictures and inspirational quotes. I have three favourite animals and I just can't choose between an elephant, giraffe or a cow? Moo knows....

Why I am a Mormon

Like many I was born into the gospel, meaning my family were already members. However this is not why I stay although having their support does help. I love the gospel and I have found that it is the only reliable source of true happiness in this world. I am so thankful to have the fullness of the gospel in my life. My testimony of its truth did not come all at once or in a lightning bolt simply it has grown as I have. As I began to properly study the scriptures in church classes and prayed for a knowledge of their truth I have received this knowledge. Ad I have had larger problems and prayed to my Heavenly Father for help, I have received help and even as I have shared my testimony I have felt it grow. I know all of this because I feel it in my heart. I feel the spirit in a warmth around me and in a joy in my soul. I feel it as definitely as I can feel my own skin. I feel his love for me as I grow in love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, my loving and living brother.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly trying to be a better person. I love trying to find ways to help the people around me even just by helping someone with their bags. I'm in a small branch so I think that everyone there (as members do anywhere) fulfils a duty to strengthen each other. I know that if I have a problem then I can go to anyone in my branch and id love to think they could do the same.
