Hi I'm Donna D Rodgers

I was baptized at the age of 8 years old by my grandfather. I am so grateful for the gospels guidance through my life.

About Me

I am the mother of 6 children and 18 children. As with many other grandparents, we enjoy them to the fullest. I have enjoyed many creative hobbies through my life. One of the most enjoyable hobbies to me is the one I have enjoyed the past few years. I create videos of my families lives, their births, graduations, family vacations and whatever else I can think of. It is a way for others to enjoy some of the hundreds of photos and videos I have collected, and also having the joy of remembering and learning of the past generations.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised from childhood in the Mormon Church. By study of the bible and the Book of Mormon, the teachings of our living Prophet and the other apostles of the Lord as well as our inspired leaders and the members of our church have me I am grateful that goodly parents and grandparents led the way for me learn to build

How I live my faith

I have been so blessed in my life to have the opportunity to teach and participate in the programs instituted and developed in our church. Teaching the youth, children and adults, as well as being taught by others, has given me strength and has helped to develop my testimony of the necessity of preparing myself to return to live with our Father in Heaven. Having a true Prophet on the earth along with chosen apostles ordained by God and reading the sacred scriptures recorded by other ancient prophets, has been the most important strength in living my faith.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Donna D Rodgers
The women in our church desire to be good wives, mothers, daughters. We desire to be clean and virtuous, striving to be like our Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that women should be treated with equality, walking beside her husband in united love and respect thus enjoying peace and joy. A woman should never feel like she is less than a man. I am so grateful that I am a woman and I love my role in life as a wife, mother and grandmother. I am grateful I have a good man to walk beside me in this life and in the worlds to come. I am also grateful for the words of the Apostle Paul when he states that neither is the man without the woman or the woman without the man. Our roles as husband and wife are divine.
