Hi I'm Stephanie Carlson

I grew up in Utah. I'm a cosmetologist and an artist. I'm a mormon

About Me

I am a cosmetologist and an artist. I love to go hiking and snowboarding. I will be serving a full time mission in Poland. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I love to learn and go to school. one day I hope I can help change the world.

Why I am a Mormon

well I grew up in an LDS home but I guess that doesn't really mean I had to live that way. There was time there when I wasn't sure why I was apart of this church. Why did I do all of these churchy things? Then some serious things happened to me and I was stuck in a dark place. how could I get out? where was the light? thats when it hit me....thats why I am apart of this wonderful church because it is the light in the darkness. it tells us and shows us that we have a loving heavenly father that gave his only begotten son to live and die for each and everyone of us. he died so we could be forgiven from the darkness that we sometimes slip into and be made clean a pure once more. i know that this is the true church! i know that life is hard and you want to give up sometime but don't give up because if you give up then you will never reach the finish line. and do you want to know what is at the end of this race we call life? it is our father in heaven. He is waiting there with open arms to hug us and say "i love you so much. Now come and stay with me for eternity." this church can only bring happiness and joy. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen

How I live my faith

I have been called to be a Teacher in my single adults ward. I try to go visiting teaching each month with my visiting teaching companion. We teach about 3 different girls. In the past I was called as a secretary, first councilor, second councilor, president, and a ward prayer advisor.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Stephanie Carlson
I know that a lot of what the church is doing right now and has done in the past is to help others that are not of out faith. we have a large humanitarian effort that has help over 167 countries, and most of these countries have few to no members of our faith. Joseph Smith taught "to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, wether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all."
