Hi I'm Jordan

I was born and raised in Oregon for most my life. I am getting ready to serve a mission In Mississippi! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the only member in my immediate family. I met my father when I was 21 and found out my grandmother on his side is a member as well. Other than them I have a cousin who is a member who is also the person who introduced me to the church and baptized me. Music is a huge part of my life, not a day goes by that I don't listen to music. I love using music to set the mood for whatever it is I'm doing. Sports are one of my favorite hobbies, I enjoy being active and love competing! I love people, I like talking to and meeting new people!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined this church almost 5 years ago and it has been the best thing I've ever done! I wasn't living a horrible life, but I know I was doing things and making decisions that I shouldn't have been making and I wasn't going anywhere in life. I was 20 at the time and was definitely not where I wanted to be at that point in my life. The church helped me get a better understanding of my Heavenly Father and of Jesus Christ, it brought me so much closer to them which helped me find out what I should be doing with my life and what decisions I needed to make. My whole goal with joining this church was to learn and know more about God and Jesus and that's exactly what it has done. The Book of Mormon has really helped me come closer to my Heavenly Father and even help me with problems I've had in my own life, there are so many benefits and blessings from reading and studying the Book of Mormon and I am so glad I was introduced to it.

How I live my faith

I love the branch I attend at my church so much! Everyone is so helpful! They've really helped me get my morals right and keep me on a good path. I love receiving a calling in the church, it helps me learn new things and also teaches me life lessons! As of right now I am preparing to embark on a church mission, I leave very soon! I am so excited!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Jordan
The most successful way I've found to know if something was true in the gospel was by praying with true desire of wanting to know. Recognizing the Holy Ghost is one of the best ways to know when something is true or good. Show more Show less
