Hi I'm Shanon Singleton

I just graduated with my bachelors degree in Human Communication. I love meeting people and seeing new places. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in St. George Utah and am the youngest of four girls. Growing up I've always loved being in either the mountains camping, or at the lake water skiing. Wherever I am I love being involved and like to stay busy. In high school I enjoyed cheerleading, orchestra, and student government. After graduating high school I attended Dixie State University where I was a Student Ambassador and a Human Communication major. I worked for the airlines for a couple of months where I gained an even greater love for traveling and seeing the world, and am now working for a software company surrounded by some of the greatest people. I've loved my college and work experience, but am excited for my newest adventure as I have just been called on a mission to Yekaterinburg Russia!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the way it makes me feel. My faith gives me motivation and strength throughout the struggles and hardships of life. I've had countless occasions in which I've felt the Spirit and been blessed by living the gospel. My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are the only people that I know will without a shadow of a doubt always be there for me and love me no matter what mistake I make. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has made me a better person and has been the source of my happiness. I am a Mormon because I know that it is true, and for that I couldn't be more grateful.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best I can be. I strive to be kind to everyone I come in contact with and get to know those who surround me. It's been my goal throughout my life to try to be a person that loves everyone. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ patterned his life after love and always put people before anything else. I have tried to do the same because I know that everyone I come in contact with has something they can teach me that will make me a better person. I also strive to keep the commandments, not just because that's what the Church teaches, but because I have felt the difference in my life and the happiness that comes from keeping them.
