Hi I'm Camille Ensign

My favorite things are Traveling and Irish Dancing. I've been called to the Michigan Lansing Mission beginning July 2015!!!

About Me

I am definitely a girlie-girl and I love the color Pink! My favorite activities include traveling, Irish dancing, and spending time with my large family. I am the surprise child in my family, which happily results in me having many nieces and nephews. My family members are my best friends. My favorite place to visit is London, and I especially love Disneyland. I am currently studying Geography with an Emphasis in Travel and Tourism at BYU and am on of the Folk Dance team. I just like to smile. Smiling's my favorite.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life, and grew up in Salt Lake City. As such, the Church has literally been apart of my daily life since day one––and I wouldn't change a thing. I am a Mormon because I find genuine comfort knowing that I have a Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ who love me. I know that I am able to communicate to my Heavenly Father through prayer, and he will actually listen and answer my prayers. In 2 Nephi 2:24 of the Book of Mormon it says, "But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things". I love knowing that all, not just some, but ALL things have been done because of a loving Heavenly Father who wants nothing more but the best for ALL His children. I am a Mormon because I find so much happiness in keeping the commandments, which are in place only to protect me. I know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God, just as President Thomas S. Monson is in our time. I know the Prophets are God's messengers, and am so grateful to know we have them on Earth today to give us guidance. I know that families can be together forever through the sealing power in Temples. I know that if we do our best, Christ will make up the rest through His atonement. Christ doesn't just make up the difference, He IS the difference. I know He walked on Earth, and I know He will come again. I am so grateful for the truths found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to make new friends each day by simply saying "Hello" to those I pass and by looking for those who are in need of help. I read my scripture and pray every day to become closer to Christ. Basically, I live my faith by being kind to others and making sure everyone has a friend.
