Hi I'm Lily

I grew up in Layton, Utah. I love the outdoors and the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest kid in my family. I have two brothers and two sisters. I have an older brother who is serving a mission in Bolivia. I love the outdoors. I love to hike, bike, boat, fish and anything else you can do outside. I played Tennis in high school. But all growing up I would play any sport my brother played. I just finished a semester of college. I plan on coming home from my mission and becoming a physical Therapist Assistant. While I was going to school I was a nannie. I think that kids bring so much joy and happiness into this world. I love little kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can be forgiven. I know that one day, when I get married that it will be in the temple. What a blessing it is to be able to be sealed to your family for time and all eternity. I know that my Heavenly Father is always there for me. I know that sometimes he gives us the answers that we don't really want... But if you listen to the Spirit and have faith then Heavenly Father will bless you.

How I live my faith

While growing up I have had many uplifting experiences. For young women's every year we would plan an activity to go and rake peoples leaves. I remember how down and negative we all could be. But then watching the faces of the people we were serving, were priceless. What a great opportunity that was to serve the people in my neighborhood. I was once the young women's president for the girls going to girls camp. That was a stressful, scary, and an exciting calling. I remember having to plan different activities that would unify the young women. I remember sharing my testimony in front of the girls and thinking about how much I love each one of them. Then thinking about how much our Savoir loves each one of us. What a blessing it is to know that someone is always watching over us and rooting for us every step of the way.
