Hi I'm Blake Aholelei

I grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii. I'm about to leave on a two year mission to Houston Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My names Blake, been a member of the Mormon church my whole life and am truly grateful for having received that blessing in my life, I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and then moved to the Big Island of Hawaii when I was 7, and have resided here since. Just finished my first semester of college at BYU Idaho and loved every minute of it, now deferred and headed off on a mission to Houston Texas Spanish speaking! I cannot express the joy gained having finally gotten my call to Texas and am humbled as to have been entrusted with the people thereof. I hope to further the work in the little that I do. In high school I played football, rugby, and I wrestled. Interests and hobbies include bodyboarding and snowboarding. That about sums me up.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith and have continued to be a Mormon solely on the basis of the joy and happiness that follows.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in basically all that I do. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church or Mormons) we have a specific set of standards and practices that we follow in our day to day lives. Having high standards determines the way I conduct myself in a manner that not only represents me, my family, and my last name but more importantly that of the church and Jesus Christ. With that mind set your actions and personal dealings with your fellow man changes drastically and you'll notice a sense of joy and happiness that comes from it.
