Hi I'm Elder Haycock

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Baltic States Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have loved the outdoors from a very young age, whether it's backpacking, playing frisbee, or just going on a walk. I play the trumpet and enjoy playing it when I get a chance. I enjoy making new friends and I did so as I attended BYU-Idaho for one semester before deciding to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am currently serving in the Baltic States Mission Latvia Region.

Why I am a Mormon

I try to live my faith each and every day. I know that I make mistakes but that's why the Atonement is so amazing. Because Jesus Christ suffered for us, we can repent and be cleansed of our sins. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church by the power of Jesus Christ and that we can receive revelation from latter day prophets like prophets in the Bible. I believe the Book of Mormon to be another testament of Jesus Christ and it contains many precious truths that testify Jesus is the Christ. Jesus Christ loves each and every one of His children and I know that He knows my struggles, strengths, and problems. The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed me in innumerable ways and it's the simplicity of it that keeps me going, making me a better person each day.

How I live my faith

Since the age of 14 my father and I have gone home teaching together. We would go to church members houses and share a gospel message with them. I loved getting involved in the church and while attending BYU-Idaho I was a Sunday school instructor.
