Hi I'm Tania Molinar

I grew up in a small town surrounded by beautiful mountains in Colorado. I'm a lover of life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town which means there was a small group of other LDS kids like me but we stuck together and even brought other non members into our circle of friends. I was super involved in high school and that was where I discovered my passion for music. I played several instruments but not super great :P Still I continued my passion for music and began to sing everywhere I went! Music is not just a hobby to me, it's a part of my life that I will always have just like the gospel! Music moves me in ways most don't understand but that's what makes me unique I guess. I also enjoy dancing, reading (love reading...seriously) and spending time with friends and family. I am currently going to college and have absolutely no idea what to study but I'll figure it out in time!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon my whole life and I never realized how much it impacted my life until I turned 19. I was faced with trials that really challenged me as a member and challenged the idea of who I wanted to be! I realized that I'll always have the choice to live the easy life. To do whatever I want, whenever I want and I got a small taste of that. However, all I felt was guilt, shame, and regret knowing that I could do so much better. I wanted to feel better. That small taste only brought a moment of pleasure that lasted for a short while and in the long run, I was more sad than happy. That was when I decided to fully serve the Lord and do what I can to follow Him. I wanted to live a life I was unashamed of so that when I see the Lord face to face, I can say to Him that I did my best to follow His commandments and be as Christ-like as I could. Sure it's still hard, life will never be easy, but the gospel has given me a way to get me through the hard, testing times. I am so grateful for eternal families, and knowing that they will be there for me forever. I am grateful for the gospel and the scriptures, for the truth it contains and the guidance it gives. I am grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father knew we'd make mistakes so He sent us His son, so that we had a way to repent and try again. Christ made it possible for us to return to our Heavenly Father, and words can't explain how grateful I am for that. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and knows us personally. I know that Christ lives. I know that we have a prophet that receives revelation from God to guide us in these darkening days. I know the gospel is true and I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God that restored these truths to us. My life is so blessed because of the gospel and I wouldn't trade for anything in the world.

How I live my faith

Since I am young, I've never been super involved with church (I didn't receive too many callings), but I was the Primary Chorister once which was so fun! I do many musical numbers and do as much as I can to help with activities and the like. I just try to be a friendly person and help those who are in need of help. Whether it's help with babysitting, or help with life in general! I find a great deal of happiness when I know that I helped make someone's life just a little bit easier to handle!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Prayer, continual study and sincere desire. If you truly have the desire to know whether or not it's true, God will give you an answer as you pray and study the scriptures. Show more Show less
