Hi I'm Richard

I was born in Red Deer, Alberta. Oldest of 11 children. Great-grandson to Icelandic and German Immigrants. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Currently working as a Professional Driver, and have done a few professions during my life with one over riding constant- being a loyal husband and father and member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I have a passion for learning something new on a regular basis of a few subjects. Health, Different Peoples, Their History, Their LIfestyles, Their Religions, - how are they Happy and Content, how do they cope with the Handicapped persons in their life - I survive on being tried and challenged with life's tests.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because of the answers I've received. I've always received an answer to the questions I've had. Whether through another person, a lesson manual, scriptures, or personal revelation -- I've always gotten an answer. There is always an answer. I also recognize that there is continuing revelation today. The prophet and apostles speak and give us revelation to help us in our day today. I have also seen the blessing it is to have the Gift of the Holy Ghost in my life. The promise to the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost if I am being obedient to God's commandments.

How I live my faith

Being a husband, my wife and I go on a date each week, take care of our handicapped daughter full-time and work together to plan each day. We work together to accomplish what we set forward to do. We try to help around the community by helping those that we know in need. Helping others move, donating to the Food Bank, and cleaning the local church building. Whenever I engage in a conversation I try to help people realize that there really is a God. I'm not content unless I'm visiting with, talking to, or helping out someone.
