Hi I'm Katelyn

I was born and raised in the same house in Utah. I am an average college student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to collect piggy banks! I have the upward slide of 100 piggy banks! I enjoy spending time with my family and skiing. I have been skiing since I was little with my dad. I am a college student and have transferred between two schools.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my parents. I loved the church, but I didn't really know the truthfulness of it myself until I was older. My father died because of an accident when I was 17. This event was a big life changer. At this point in my life I had to decide for myself if I believed in this gospel. Before I had just gone through the motions, even though I had felt the Spirit testify to me of the truthfulness. I prayed and I felt the confirmation of the Spirit that this gospel is true. I testify to you today that I know that I can and will see my father again. I know that Jesus Christ knows how I feel and I know that through the healing power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I can return my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Currently I hold a calling in my Single's ward as a Ward Missionary. This is where we go around and visit the people of our ward. The world can be so difficult, stressful, and frustrating that it is nice to have someone to talk to and relate to at the end of the day, and that is what I am here for. We all must endure to the end, but we never have to do it alone. I also attend institute, a class of religion, to learn more about this wonderful gospel. Recently I have been called as full time missionary for the church. Soon I will be traveling to New Zealand to invite more people to come unto Christ and share the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ has for all of us.
