Hi I'm Kenna

I'm a Texas Tech student. I am going on a mission to Oakland/San Francisco. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college at Texas Tech University, and am currently preparing to leave on my mission. I am studying Community Family Addiction Services and trying to be a missionary in how I live every single day. I come from a blended family, so I understand some of the challenges that go along with that. I live to eat and eat to live!

Why I am a Mormon

Simply, I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I grew up in this faith, and have had countless experiences that confirm to me the truth of this gospel. I know that our Savior lives and loves us, and that He has a divine plan for each and every one of us. This truth means that I never have to feel alone, that I never have to do it on my own, but that our loving Savior knows me and will help me every single difficult step along the way. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and every time it has allowed me to learn more about God and come closer to Him. This gospel is everything to me. It brings me peace and happiness. It is my life.

How I live my faith

Everyday I do my best to become more like Jesus Christ. I feel that one of the best ways to share your faith is through the way you live, so I try to live in a way that allows others to feel Christ's love. I work with the young women in our ward and absolutely love to learn from them and realize that wisdom doesn't just come from age. They are great examples and love The Lord and this gospel and have it way more together than I do!
