Hi I'm Shai

I love to eat, sing and read the scriptures. I love being with kids. I'm a daughter of God, I love the Lord and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a child of record. My parents was baptized when I was just 2 years old. I was baptized by my father at the age of accountability which is 8 years old on 30th of May, 2003. I'm a single adult now and I love my callings which bringeth me closer to our loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. One of my biggest dream calling is to be a Primary leader but I was called by the Lord to serve as a Young Women Secretary. I love being with kids because I always remember those Christlike Attributes and they are my stress reliever. I'm also a Ward Missionary and a LDSSA (LDS Student Association) Chairman in our Institute. I love working with the missionaries because it strenghteneth my testimony. I love serving the Lord. I'm a musically-inclined person, I love to sing and play the piano but I am not that good in playing the piano. I only have the desire to be a good pianist but I think I don't have the expertise to play it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because my parents were member when I was a child. It is because I chose to stay on this right path. Being a Mormon makes me a better person, I have learned many lessons in life that I know I'll never find in any religion except The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I believe that other religions have the truth which is the gospel but I strongly believe that the fullness of the Gospel is in this church only. I will always be grateful for the Book of Mormon and other scriptures including the Bible and how it helped my life to be in its proper place. I know that a true Church must have a proper authority and order that's why we have lots of principles that must be followed every single day. The commandments were given to all us not to banned us from our happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by magnifying my callings as a Youth leader, ward missionary and a second elder sister in our family. I strengthen my faith by pondering the scriptures and sharing the gospel to others especially to my loved ones. I know that Faith is not sufficient but FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ is really important. Through that faith, we can trust the Lord that all things would happen according to His will and plan.
