Hi I'm William

I grew up in Maryland. I play football for Southern Virginia University.I am the youngest of 6 children, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and am currently preparing to serve a mission in Little Rock Arkansas. I have just finished my first semester at SVU. I am majoring in Business management. I achieved Eagle Scout. I am big into sports. I play football, basketball, lacrosse, swim, and golf.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace that this gospel brings to my life. I grew up in the church and have seen the joy it brings to those who live it. I am the youngest of 6 children. All my siblings went different paths in life. Some closer to the Lord and others not so much. Being the youngest I got to watch the effect my siblings choices have had in their lives. As I grew up and studied the gospel to find out of it's surety I learned with an overwhelming sense of peace that this was the true church. I know that the Lord has given us latter day revelation through the living Prophet. I know that through our redeemer we can be saved and return to live with our heavenly father. I know that families will be together forever. God loves us. He cares for each and every one of us. Even though at times it may seem doubtful, those are the times where our faith grows the most. He loves us enough to give us trials and to help us grow strong. He loves us enough to send his only son to die for our salvation. This testimony I have gained through diligent prayer and study. Growing up in the church makes it so I must seek my own conversion. I grew up learning the Gospel, but I had to seek for the answers to know for a surety that this is the true gospel and that God lives.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my church. I will soon be a full time missionary for this church. Before I decided to serve a mission, I was an active home teacher in the ward.
