Hi I'm Collette Barclay

"I grew up in Cedar City, Utah. I just graduated from High School. I'm a Mormon!"

About Me

I just graduated from High school. I love to sing and play the piano. I was in two plays, bye bye birdie, and thoroughly modern Millie, where I had an opportunity to share my voice and learn some sweet dance moves! I love to scrapbook with all the random pictures I take! It gives me a chance to be creative and I love it. Being with my family and friends just having fun together, just laughing and talking are my specialties! I am happy and always positive!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been apart of this church my whole life, it has never been hard for me to live the gospel of Jesus Christ because it had been my foundation since the beginning! I have always had a testimony in the back of my mind that these things are true by the feelings or the strength that fled through me when I'd listen to the speakers speak to my heart. I knew I wanted my testimony stronger so I read the Book of Mormon and studied it and picked out and marked every time I felt the spirit and I just knew that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know it to be true with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I have been apart of Young Woman's in my ward since I was twelve years old. It has strengthened me and has taught me how to better prepare for my future as a wife and mother. Growing up in the church I have had many callings where I was able to teach and be an example to the younger girls in my ward, those experiences have made me more aware of who is watching me and has helped me be a better me. Even at school I was noticing there was always someone coming to me for advice and that strength they saw in me it made me have such a positive attitude toward my faith. As I'm getting older my faith in Jesus Christ has grow so strong just by living my faith and choosing everyday who I want to be.
