Hi I'm Ollie

I am a student at BYU, a missionary, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a runner, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a student at BYU studying Psychology. I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Tahiti Papeete Mission! I am the oldest of three girls. I love running, hiking, swimming, and basically anything competitive! I grew up all over the Midwest, but my family is now living in Virginia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me immeasurable joy, peace, comfort, and knowledge. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I have an infinite, eternal Heavenly Father who knows and loves me infinitely, eternally, and perfectly. I know that God sent His son Jesus Christ to live, die, be resurrected for me. I know that through Jesus Christ's sacrifice and grace I can be saved. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that it testifies of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ's church was restored to the Earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I am so grateful to know that we have modern-day prophets and apostles who lead and guide the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints under the direction of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that Heavenly Father loves each of His children so infinitely and perfectly, that He has provided a way that we might be made perfect and live with Him again. I know that families are central to Heavenly Father's plan, and I am so grateful to have grown up in a home centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the knowledge that I can be with my family forever. Each day I am blessed beyond belief by my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ, as well as by the influence of the Holy Ghost. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's true and complete church, and I am so grateful for the infinite ways that it blesses my life with peace and joy every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually trying to be a positive example to those around me. I try to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my conversations, through serving and helping those around me, and simply by living a Christ-centered life. I serve in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by helping fellowship our families and friends. Jesus Christ was and is the ultimate example of faith, service, and charity, and I live my faith by trying to emulate His example daily. I attend church each Sunday, and draw nearer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through scripture study and prayer each day. Soon I will be able to live my faith by serving an eighteen month mission, where I will be teaching and serving the people in Tahiti!
