Hi I'm Corinne

I am a college student at Brigham Young University who has put my education on hold to serve an 18 month mission!

About Me

I am from Chicago, Illinois and have just finished my freshmen year of college. I am the youngest child in my family and have two older sisters and an older brother. I was fortunate enough to make the dance company at my school every year, and have been able to share my love for dancing with others. I am also able to share my love for music by teaching piano to young students in my community. I have been a member of this church my whole life, and I know that I am who I am because of it. One of my favorite things to do is to serve others and make their day better. I am planning on majoring in global supply chain management after returning from my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of my parents. My dad was born into this gospel and his family has a very strong religious influence in the St. Louis area. However, my mom and her family are converts to this church and they joined when she was around 7 years old. More importantly, I'm a mormon because I want to be. My entire life I have learned about this gospel and have come to know for myself that it is true. Being a member of this church aids me in being a better person, and helps me to be happier. It allows me to accept and love everyone no matter who they are or where they are from. This church is true, and I am a mormon because being a mormon makes me a better person, a happier person, and draws me nearer to our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to be an example. I share gospel principles with my friends by dressing modestly, keeping my language clean, and sharing my testimony of basic gospel principles whenever I can. I have served on various committees within the church to help plan an annual youth conference as well as helping to plan a youth dance for kids ages 14 and up. I try to live my life in a way that shows others my love for Christ and for his gospel. I love the saying, "Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know Christ, will want to know Christ because they know you!"
