Hi I'm Amanda

I grew up in a small town. I love to play tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Amanda! I am 19 years old and currently attending college in Idaho. I work at a bakery owned by my brother-in-law's family. I love to play tennis and musical instruments. I know how to play a lot of different instruments but my main instrument is the oboe.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt His Spirit and I know that this is the true gospel. Sometimes I think about this church and the teachings and I just can't see how it couldn't be true! The greatest thing I love about this church is how it teaches accepting others for who they are and that you can always repent if you have made a mistake. The atonement of Jesus Christ ensures that any person who made a mistake and truly wants to make things right can do it and He will remember it no more. I know that if I make mistakes that I can pray directly to my Father in Heaven and He will hear me and forgive me if I am truly sorry. I know that through the temple ordinances of the gospel, I will be able to be with my family forever. We are sealed together for time and all eternity. When I get married in the temple, I will be sealed with my family as well and them to me. This is a gospel of truth and love. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others around me whenever I get the chance. I am preparing to serve a mission in Guatemala Coban where I will be able to share the gospel and serve to people of Guatemala. I am so excited to be able to do the Lord's work where He need me.
