Hi I'm Russ Crockett

I grew up in San Diego, California. I live in South Jordan, Utah and work as a hospital human resources director.

About Me

I have been married for 39 years and have four children and 11 grandchildren. My wife and I love to travel and have visited Europe, Asia, Central and South America. We also enjoy watching old movies and PBS programs. I also like to attempt doing handyman jobs around the house. I love spending time with my kids and their families.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was a small child. I have always known that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and I can't imagine not having it in my life. The guidance the church provides is invaluable, everything from help in successfully raising our kids to how to avoid addiction and the freedom that gives me. Most important of all, it gives me an indescribable feeling of peace and happiness. I am a Mormon because I know that it's true.

How I live my faith

My faith is part of everything I do. It guides my actions at work and as I interact with other people. It was the core as we raised our kids, and they now incorporate it as they raise their kids. I am involved at church, teaching a Sunday School class and regularly visiting people in their homes. I have even organized neighborhood social events for the church. My faith has really helped me when I've had challenges in my life. I have found that God really does listen to my sincere prayers, which has been a huge help and comfort Ito me.
