Hi I'm Nohely

I am a pianist and a missionary. I love to laugh. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and am the baby in my family of 6, if you include my dog. I have enjoyed music throughout my life with playing violin and piano for 12 years and plan to continue. It's my passion and have now "tried" going with the singing side. I also am a photographer, hiker, exercise junkie and a tutor to middle schoolers.I love new opportunities and being around people. I will be serving my mission in the Kirtland Visitor's Center in Ohio and am excited about life.

Why I am a Mormon

Like the traditional Mormon, I was baptized at 8. However, the time came where I really wanted to know for myself the truth and meaning behind my life. With sincere prayer and study, I have come to know these truths for myself. In no other way, have I had so much joy and comfort in my life as I have had in the church. It is not something which could be expressed in simple words, but felt within my heart. I constantly have sought out with hope whenever I stumble through trials and know that with Christ and God everything is possible. He loves us. I know the Book of Mormon to be true and the Bible to be true as they share such divine guidance in my life and in learning. Being a member has helped me to achieve true happiness, and who wouldn't want that?

How I live my faith

I love to dedicate myself into the service of others. The more I serve unto others, the more I come to find happiness with my Heavenly Father. I was serving as the ward and primary pianist in my area and love the great experiences each day. I find peace through others as I look for the good in them . I continually involve myself in activities with the community, school and church, where I can find joy and peace as I learn each day and learn from others. Now, I will be serving as a full-time missionary. As I leave my family for a period of 18 months, I gain a greater reward in knowing that other families can have the same.
