Hi I'm Honoré

I'm in student council, service learning, National Honor Society, Distinguished Young Women, swim team, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to get involved in the community and swim on my high school swim team. I enjoy hosting parties, photography, and am going to attend BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been mormon since the church started, but I chose to be baptized because of the peace and happiness that comes from this gospel. I know my purpose here on earth and I know what God's plan is for me. I'm so grateful to have this knowledge in my life so I can have a sense of direction while I am here. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, and that revelation doesn't cease. God still talks to His children. I love my Heavenly Father and I know that He loves me, and all of His children.

How I live my faith

I have served in the young women presidency since I was 12. I love how the gospel gives me the opportunity to help serve others. Service is the only real happiness on earth. I love learning about the teachings of Jesus Christ, and strive to follow His example everyday.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Honoré
No, mormons are not required to serve missions. However, because the gospel brings such peace and joy, it would be selfish the not share it with others! Many mormons volunteer to serve missions because they want to bring happiness to other people's lives. We are all God's children and everyone deserves to be happy. Show more Show less
